Tradies & assigning work
Save tradespeople to your landlord profile or import them from Contacts, assign one to a request, then schedule an appointment and email your tenant.
Saved Tradespersons
You can get to your saved list two ways:
- From the Maintenance screen, under Options, tap Saved Tradespersons to add, edit, or delete entries.
- From inside a request, tap Select Tradesperson (or Change, if one is already assigned) to pick from the list or add a new one on the spot.
Saved tradespeople are stored on your landlord profile, not on the property, so the same list follows you across every property you manage.
Each entry can store:
- Name (the only required field)
- Phone
- Company
- Notes
Add one manually, or tap Import from Contacts to pull a name, phone number, email, and company straight from your phone's Contacts app. Swipe left on a saved tradesperson to delete them.
Notes are for your own reference, things like access instructions or how reliable they've been. They're never shown to your tenant.
Assigning a tradesperson
Open a request and tap Select Tradesperson under the Tradesperson section. Once someone's assigned, you get one-tap Call and Email buttons for them, wherever you've stored a phone number or email.
Appointments
Once a tradesperson is assigned, tap Schedule Appointment to pick a date and time. You can't pick a time in the past, and if nothing's set yet it defaults to 10am tomorrow. Already have an appointment booked? Tap Reschedule to change it.
Scheduling an appointment also moves an Open request to In Progress automatically.
After you schedule, Propero asks whether to let your tenant know. If they have an email on file, choosing Email tenant opens a pre-filled message (subject "Maintenance update: [issue]") with the appointment time already in it, ready for you to review and send.

Maintenance history
Resolved requests stay editable under the Maintenance screen. Attach an invoice amount and file, and it flows into Earnings as a Repairs expense.
