Managing your listing

Track order status on the property hub, cancel before payment, handle enquiries, and contact support to update a live listing.

Once you submit a listing, the Advertising section on the property hub becomes your control centre. The order status card shows where things stand, and most day-to-day tasks, enquiries, open for inspections, and changes to a live listing, happen from here.

Before payment

You can cancel a Draft, Submitted, or Awaiting payment order anytime at no cost. Withdrawing an end-of-tenancy declaration on Lease Overview also cancels any unpaid advertising order tied to it.

If an order sits unpaid for seven days, it expires automatically and you'll need to start a new listing.

After your listing goes live

Listings go live on realestate.com.au, Domain, and rent.com.au within about 24 hours after payment. Enquiries and applications go directly to you, not through Propero, so keep an eye on your email and phone.

Propero sends payment reminders while an order is awaiting payment, and a listing expiry reminder as the campaign nears its end. See Notifications.

Changing a live listing

You can't edit a live listing in the app. To change the asking rent, photos, copy, or available-from date after it has gone live, contact support and they'll update the portals for you. See Contact support.

Open for inspections

When the listing is Live, add viewing times from the property hub so they appear on the portals. See Open for inspections.

Ending the campaign

Once you've signed a new lease, Advertise property re-locks and the listing campaign closes. If you need to take a live listing down before then, contact support.

Recording the cost

The portal listing fee can be logged as an expense under the Advertising category on the Earnings tab. See Income & expenses.
