Reminders & expiry dates

Document expiry warnings at 30 days, compliance due countdowns, and why only condition report inspections get a push notification, not every date.

Propero surfaces due and expiry information inside the app for documents and compliance items on each property hub.

Documents

Set an expiry date on a document and Propero highlights it on the Documents list once it's within 30 days of expiring. Open the document to see its full status: fine, expiring soon, or expired.

Compliance

Compliance items calculate their next due date from the last completed date (or the date you set) and the item type's default interval. Status shows as Overdue, Due soon (within 30 days), Up to date, or Not scheduled (no due date recorded), alongside a countdown like "Due in 14 days" or "Overdue by 3 days".

Propero also adds a Smoke Alarm Inspection item automatically, marked overdue, the first time you open a property's hub. See Compliance certificates for the full list of tracked items and their default intervals.

Push notifications

Condition report inspection reminders (ingoing, routine, outgoing) are sent as push notifications. See Property Health.

For document and compliance expiry, Propero shows status in the app rather than guaranteeing a push for every date. Check in on the Documents and Compliance sections from time to time, and add anything critical to your own calendar too.

Manage notification permissions in iOS Settings > Propero. See Notifications.
