Propero
Getting started

Add your first property

Walk through adding the first property to your portfolio.

After signing in, Propero's onboarding will guide you through adding your first property. The first thing it asks for is your rental address.

One property per account

Propero currently supports one property per account. If you manage multiple properties, you'll need a separate account for each.

Address validation

Enter your property's address. Propero will look it up and suggest a match. Tap the correct result to confirm.

Address validation screen

On the next screen you'll have the chance to add or correct a unit number or house number before finalising the address.

Add your tenant

Next, Propero will ask you to add your tenant's details.

Tenant setup

Tenant details

FieldNotes
NameThe tenant's full name
EmailUsed for sending receipts and communications
Phone numberOptional, used for contact cards
Weekly rentThe amount of rent due each week
Bond amountPropero defaults to 4 weeks rent but this can be adjusted
Advance rent paidAny rent the tenant has already paid in advance

Adding multiple tenants

If there is more than one tenant in the property, tap Add tenant below the first tenant's details to add another. Repeat for each additional tenant.

Primary contact

The first tenant you add will be used as the primary contact for all communications by default. Make sure this is the head tenant, the one who should receive rent reminders, receipts, and messages. You can change this later from the tenant's profile.

Confirm details

Before continuing, Propero will show you a confirmation screen summarising everything you've entered. Review all details carefully (name, contact info, rent, bond, and advance rent) and tap Confirm once you're happy everything is correct.

Add a lease agreement

Once your property and tenant are set up, you can attach your lease agreement. From the bottom navigation bar tap Insights, then tap Lease, and select Upload lease agreement from the options at the bottom of the screen.

Upload lease agreement

Tap Upload document to attach a PDF from your Files app, or take a photo of a paper copy. You can come back and do this at any time.

Next steps

Your property is all set up. Next, take a tour of the app in Navigating the app.
