Amending a report

While a report is in Pending review, change element conditions, dismiss AI issues, add photos and notes, or retry analysis that didn't finish.

You can change a report only while it is Pending review. Once you tap Approve Report, it's locked from further edits.

Manual review

On the report summary, tap into a room to work through what the AI found:

  • Change an element's condition: Good, Fair, Poor, or Damaged, or mark it not applicable if it doesn't exist in that room
  • Toggle whether it's Clean, Undamaged, and Working (where that applies)
  • Add your own comment in Your Notes
  • Dismiss an AI-found issue you don't agree with
  • Add an issue yourself with a description, the element it belongs to, and a severity (minor, moderate, major)
  • Add your own photos under Your Photos (up to 10 per room, each with an optional caption)

You can also open Report Details to add or edit overall notes, meter readings, and keys and security information (meter readings and keys aren't collected on routine inspections).

When everything looks right, tap Approve Report. Propero confirms this finalises the report and generates the PDF, and that you can then send it to your tenant from the share button.

Edit with Propero Chat

From the report summary, tap Chat with Propero (subtitled Make changes to this report) to jump into the Chat tab with the report already loaded as context. It's the same Propero Chat used elsewhere in the app, just scoped to this report. Ask it to update an element's condition, add or dismiss an issue, add a note, or add a missing element, then review the result and approve as normal.

This only works while the report is Pending review, same as manual editing. See Propero Chat.

Retry Analysis

If a report gets stuck or analysis doesn't finish, it drops back to Draft and the summary screen shows an Analysis did not finish card with a Retry Analysis button. Tapping it re-runs AI analysis on the whole report, not just the room that had trouble, and puts the report back into Processing.

A room-level Analysis failed notice (shown when Propero couldn't analyse that room's video) has no retry button of its own. That room stays excluded from the report's condition and score until you retry the whole report.

Keep in mind each retry uses one of your three daily report slots, the same limit as creating a new report.
